Terms of service
Last updated 23 August 2026 · ZynOps Solutions
This document is not final. The highlighted values below still need to be supplied, and the text should be reviewed by a qualified adviser before launch. Everything describing how the software behaves has been checked against the code; the parts that depend on how ZynOps Solutions is established have not been filled in.
These terms cover the ZynOps command-line tool and the hosted account, usage, and billing service at this site. By creating an account or installing the CLI you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming you have the authority to bind it.
What you get
ZynOps is a terminal coding assistant that runs on your machine and connects to a model provider you choose and pay for separately. We provide the tool, and a hosted account service that handles sign-in, subscriptions, and usage reporting.
We do not supply the model, and a ZynOps subscription is not a substitute for provider credit. You need your own access to OpenAI, DeepSeek, a locally hosted model, or another compatible provider. Which one is your decision.
Accounts
Keep your credentials and your CLI session tokens to yourself; anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us promptly if you think a session has been compromised, and revoke it from your account — you can do that yourself at any time, from any machine.
One account is for one person. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
Plans and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, and renew until cancelled. Plans differ only in daily volume — the same features and the same models are available on every one, including the free plan. Current prices and limits are on the pricing page.
- Daily limits
- Each plan allows a number of requests and a number of credits per day. Counters reset daily. Requests cost different numbers of credits depending on their type, so the credit limit is normally what you reach first.
- What is metered
- These limits apply to requests made to the hosted ZynOps API. The CLI as shipped connects to your own provider directly, so an ordinary coding session runs against your provider’s limits and billing, not ours.
- Credits are charged before the work
- When you use the metered API, credits are deducted when a request is accepted rather than after it succeeds. If the provider then fails, those credits stay spent. We think this is the right trade-off for preventing abuse, and we would rather state it plainly than surprise you.
- Changing plans
- Upgrade or cancel at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for; you keep access until then.
- Refunds
- We are not obliged to refund partial periods, but if the service did not work as described, write to us and we will deal with it in good faith.
- Price changes
- We may change prices, with notice before it affects a renewal. If a change does not suit you, cancel before the renewal date.
Acceptable use
Do not use ZynOps to break the law, to infringe someone else’s rights, or to build malware or tools designed to gain unauthorised access to systems. Do not resell the hosted service, work around its limits, share one account across a team, or attempt to disrupt the infrastructure. Your provider’s own acceptable-use policy applies to you as well.
We may suspend an account that is causing harm or risk to the service. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first.
Your code and keys
Your code stays yours. We claim no licence over it, and we do not train on it — the hosted service never receives it, as explained in the privacy policy.
Model output is generated text. It can be wrong, insecure, or unsuitable, and it may resemble output produced for someone else. Review anything it writes before you run it or ship it, and treat it the way you would treat a patch from a stranger. You are responsible for what you do with it.
Provider API keys you configure stay on your machine. Keep them secret; we cannot rotate them for you.
Third-party components
The CLI package includes prebuilt third-party components, and those components may contact services we do not operate. What they send, and to whom, is described in the privacy policy, and it is worth reading before you install ZynOps inside an organisation with its own data-handling rules.
Those components carry their own licences and their own terms, and we give no warranty over them.
Availability
There is no uptime commitment. The hosted service may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. The CLI is deliberately built to keep working when the account service cannot be reached — commands that need it explain the problem instead of crashing, and coding sessions are unaffected.
Warranties and liability
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its output will be correct.
To the maximum extent the law allows, ZynOps Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost or damaged data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions. Where that is so, they apply only as far as the law permits, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and termination
We may change the service and these terms. For a material change we will update the date above and give notice through the site or by email; continuing to use ZynOps afterwards means you accept the new version. You can close your account whenever you like, and we may close it if you materially breach these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [governing law — to be completed], and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any right you have to bring a claim where you live if the law gives you one.
Questions about these terms go to [contact address — to be completed].
